Got some new supplies this week, rebuilt my IFAK (individual first aid kit), times two for two loadouts. I don't claim to have extensive experience in firs-response, but if you are looking for a general idea of what to fill your first aid kit with, I think this is a good start.

Medical Supplies

- Latex Gloves
- Bandages of different sizes and shapes
- Gauze
- Medical Scissors and tweezers
- Alcohol wipes
- BZK Wipes
- Moist Towelettes
- Aspirin
- non-aspirin pain-killer
- antiseptic ointment

Misc

- Bug Repellent
- Electric Tape
- Scissors
- Pens
- Permanent Marker
- Memo pad
- Extra AA, AAA, coin cell, button cell, 123A batteries. (and room for spare AEG battery as needed)
- Extra Thunder-B Pins
- Precision screwdriver - and +
- Stubby screwdrivers - and + (on the way, Amazon works in mysterious ways)

A few things I have but chose to omit (due to size and weight) in favor of the utility tools (second list above):

- eye wash
- Large eye pad (think pirate, not apple)
- instant ice-bag
- trauma pad
- Large triangular bandage
- sling

Plans to add in the future:

- An index card with all emergency frequencies applicable
- Self-adhesive dressing and clothespin
- Tourniquet
- lighter
- microfiber optic wipe
- Sunscreen if I can find it small enough to fit in spray form. Wishful thinking lol.
- One - screwdriver long enough to reach through a full stock

I would think about adding some hemostatic agents as well such as Quick Clot

Most that I found were large sponges or dressings with quick clot in it. But I think I found one that's reasonable and would fit in my kit.

That works... both granulars and gauze/sponges work well
